Former student of law.
Thomas, the son of Reginald Turner and Ellen Worth, was born in June 1894 and educated at the Ryleys, Alderley Edge and Shrewsbury College where he was a member of the Officer Training Corps. In January 1912 he was a student at the Agricultural College, Aspatria, Cumbria. He entered the University of Manchester in early 1914 and passed the examination of the Surveyors’ Institute in March 1914.
In November 1914 Thomas was commissioned in the Cheshire Regiment, undertook training at Bedford and landed at Gallipoli in August 1915 where he was killed.
