Died of tuberculosis of the larynx, 17th January 1921, age 25.

John was born on 4th December 1895 to John and Ida Hamnett, of 24, Sarah St., Bradford, Manchester. He was employed as a Draughtsman in Gas Engine Works, (Ashton-under-Lyne?) and after enlisting was in France on 25th August 1915. He was discharged, and on his Death Certificate his profession was an “Army Pensioner, Draughtsman in Gas Engine Works.” He died at home on 17th January 1921 of “Tuberculosis of Larynx.”
