Onno Gorter

Onno was the son of Folkert Oene and Julia Ten Gorter of Almelo, Holland. He was born on 21st February 1897 and attended H.B. School, Almelo. In 1914 he entered Manchester University as a student of chemistry. He was commissioned in the Dutch Army in October 1916. He died of pneumonia at Almelo on 28th September 1918.
