Harry was born at Oldham in 1874 to John Clegg Waterhouse, a Justice of the Peace. He was educated at East Hardwock School, Pontefract. He joined Owen’s College in 1896 and gained a 1st M.B. He enlisted in 1915 and was killed in April 1918 at Neuve Eglise, France. He left effects worth £499 4s 6d to Charles Clegg Waterhouse, a farmer.
