Guy was born in 1893 to Thomas David and Henrietta Marston of India and Poynton, Cheshire. He was educated at St. Jospeh’s College, Naini Tai, India and joined Manchester University in 1911, graduating with an BSc. in 1914.
Gazetted in May 1915 he served on the western front and was wounded near Baupaume on 9th February 1918 and died the same day.
